Filters in built-in camera

WhatsApp keeps bringing new features for its users from time to time which are very useful for them. In this series, the company is now planning to bring filters in the built-in camera for the users. This means users will be able to add filters to photos and videos shot directly from the app. The new filter has been spotted by WABetaInfo in the latest WhatsApp beta update for Android users.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp's camera will soon get filters that will include options to smooth one's skin, change the background, adjust lighting, and more. The company had introduced these filters for video calling a few months ago. It is being told that after the feature is rolled out, users will get to see a new filter button in the camera interface.

The new button will allow users to apply filters to enhance their photos and videos with just a single tap. Till now these filters were available only during video calls. The new button will allow users to quickly toggle through different filters to make adjustments in real-time before capturing their images and videos. The new filters are still in beta and it may take some time for users to get them.
