Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's health deteriorated during Jammu and Kashmir election campaign, said – “I will remain alive until Modi is removed from power”

New Delhi. During the campaign for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, the health of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge suddenly deteriorated. The incident occurred while he was addressing a public meeting in Jasrota in Kathua district. When his health improved slightly, he said from the stage, “We will continue the fight to restore statehood. I am 83 years old and not going to die any time soon. I will remain alive until PM Modi is removed from power.”

Strong attack on Modi government

In his speech, Kharge fiercely targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said, “PM Modi gave nothing to the youth of India in the last 10 years. Can you trust a person who could not bring back your prosperity in 10 years? If any BJP leader comes in front of you, ask him whether he has brought prosperity?”

The Congress President further said, “The Prime Minister is shedding false tears for the future of the youth. The truth is that in the last 10 years, PM Modi and his government have pushed the youth of the country into darkness. PM Modi is directly responsible for the current situation of the country.”

Congress's focus on Jammu and Kashmir

After this statement of Kharge, the political atmosphere has become more heated. Congress has been demanding restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir for a long time. This statement of Kharge is being seen as a step taken in the same direction.
