New Delhi. Mobile internet service has been restored today, five days after the violence that broke out in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Earlier, Friday prayers also concluded peacefully in Sambhal. In view of the Friday prayers, the police had converted Sambhal's Jama Masjid and the surrounding area into a cantonment. Surveillance was kept at various places with the help of CCTV and surveillance was also done using drone cameras. Police officers are constantly maintaining contact with the local people. At present the situation is normal there but as a precaution a large number of police forces are still deployed.

Moradabad Division Commissioner Anjaneya Kumar Singh said that Friday prayers were conducted peacefully in Jama Masjid of Sambhal and other mosques of the city. We are talking to people. The atmosphere is peaceful now. More than 300 people involved in the violence on Sunday have been identified and more than 30 people have been arrested. We are focusing on collecting evidence right now. We are trying to identify the people who hatched all this conspiracy. Everyone will be arrested soon.

On the other hand, Maulana Tauqeer Raza, founder of Ittehad-e-Millat Council in Bareilly, has been detained. CO Bareilly Pankaj Kumar told that Tauqeer Raza had announced to be careful after Friday prayers. In view of the law and order situation, Maulana Tauqeer Raza has been detained. 15-20 other people have also been detained along with him. Given the situation, no religious or political person will be allowed to get away. The police is ensuring that law and order is maintained in the state.
