New Delhi. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s social media post is going viral amid the laying of the foundation stone of Babri Masjid by suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir in Beldanga in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Giving the message of strength in unity, Mamata Banerjee has written that our fight will continue against those who are playing the game of ruining the country by stoking the fire of communalism. Along with this he appealed to all the people of West Bengal to maintain peace and harmony.

While congratulating the people of the state on ‘Unity Day’/’Harmony Day’, Mamata Banerjee wrote on her X post, the land of Bengal is the land of unity. This land is the land of Rabindranath, the land of Nazrul, the land of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda. This earth has never bowed its head before partition and will not bow its head in the future also. Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains and Buddhists in Bengal, we all know how to walk shoulder to shoulder. We share happiness because we believe that religion is for everyone, but festivals are also for everyone.

On the suspension of TMC MLA Humayun Kabir from the party, State Agriculture Minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay said, the way he is talking is anti-party and against discipline. When we work for a party, we have to follow its discipline. Action is taken against those who do not follow party discipline. Humayun Kabir did not follow party discipline and for this reason he has been suspended from TMC. Let us tell you that after being suspended from TMC, Humayun Kabir has accused CM Mamata Banerjee of working for RSS. On the other hand, a PIL was filed in the Calcutta High Court demanding to stop Humayun Kabir from laying the foundation of Babri, which was rejected by the court.
