Rahul Gandhi said that nowadays people instead of directly calling him Muslim, call him minority. Whereas, it is important to bring forward the real identity of the community. The Congress MP also said that if Dalit, OBC or general category people are attacked, then the issue should be raised along with their identity. Rahul Gandhi said in the meeting that if the problems of every community are brought forward in its name, the voice of the concerned will be strengthened.

Sources told the newspaper that Rahul Gandhi asked the Minority Department of Congress that the party should create such a platform so that the participation of the Muslim community can increase in it. Rahul Gandhi also said that it is not only electoral politics but a strong presence of Muslims is necessary in Congress also. Rahul said that Congress leaders should go to the ground and build trust among the Muslim community by strongly raising their issues.
