New Delhi. The Union Health Ministry said on Monday that 1,326 new cases of Covid-19 and eight deaths have been registered in the country in 24 hours. The death toll in the country rose to 5,29,024.
With the recovery of 1,723 patients in the last 24 hours, the total number of cured people increased to 4,41,06,656. The rate of recovery of patients in India is 98.77 percent.
Meanwhile, the daily and weekly positivity rates stood at 1.59 percent and 1.08 percent, respectively.
Also, during the same period, a total of 83,167 patients were screened across the country, taking the total to more than 90.09 crore.
India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 219.63 crore as of Monday morning.
