Azam Khan’s troubles increased, sentence of 7 years increased to 10 years in two PAN card cases!

The troubles of senior Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Azam Khan are not showing signs of diminishing. On Saturday, the MP-MLA Sessions Court has increased the punishment of 7 years earlier decided by the Magistrate Court to 10 years in the case of possession of two PAN cards.

MP-MLA Session Court has not only increased the punishment of Azam Khan and his son but has also increased the amount of fine. The court retained the sentence of Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam for only 7 years but increased the fine. Earlier the Magistrate Court had sentenced both of them to 7 years each and imposed a fine of Rs 50 thousand.

After this decision of the MP-MLA court, the problems of both the leaders have increased further. On the other hand, BJP MLA Akash Kumar Saxena welcomed the court’s decision regarding this matter.

This is a unique decision in itself because in this case an appeal was made to increase the punishment and the punishment was also increased. Abdullah Azam’s sentence has been upheld and a fine has also been imposed on him.

Prosecution lawyer Seema Rana said that this was a case related to two PAN cards. The trial court had convicted both of them, against which the accused had filed an appeal in the Sessions Court.
