Nitin Gadkari had announced Bijli Mahadev Ropeway in Kharhal Valley of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh six months ago. But now Kangana Ranaut has started opposing this project worth Rs 272 crore.
Opposition to the project by local people –
People of Kharahal and Kashwari Valley have been protesting for many days regarding the ropeway of Bijli Mahadev Temple. Villagers have taken to the streets several times to protest against the Bijli Mahadev Ropeway (272 crore Bijli Mahadev project). He says the gods are not happy with the ropeway. Besides, the construction of ropeway will also have a big impact on our employment. Apart from this, he also says that many trees will be cut for the ropeway, which will also harm the environment.
What did Kangana Ranaut say?
In connection with this project, we have met Nitin Gadkari and informed him in this regard. If it is not the will of our God then this project should stop here. I will meet Nitin Gadkari again. Kangana Ranaut has said that the orders of our God are more important for us than modernization.
Nitin Gadkari performed Bhoomi Pujan
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the virtual foundation stone of Bijli Mahadev Ropeway (272 crore Bijli Mahadev Project) at Mohal Nature Park in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The work of this ropeway will be completed in one and a half years. After the construction of this ropeway, 36,000 tourists will reach Bijli Mahadev in a day and tourism here will also get a big boost.
