Second Test: Third day's play delayed due to wet ground, inspection at 12 o'clock

The start of play was delayed due to wet ground on the third day of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium. The umpires have scheduled inspection for 12 noon, as the ground staff continue their efforts to prepare the pitch for the game.

The situation remained uncertain even on Sunday morning after the second day was abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to incessant rain. Light drizzle overnight dashed hopes of an early start, with parts of the field still covered. Three super soppers have been employed by the ground staff to remove moisture from the ground, but significant parts of the outfield are still under cover.

Bangladesh would resume their innings after reaching 107/3 on the first day, but play had to be stopped early due to bad light and rain. Mominul Haq is unbeaten on 40 and will be joined by Mushfiqur Rahim when play resumes.
