Ghazanfar created havoc in bowling, Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets
Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the last match of the three-match ODI series with the help of excellent bowling by Allah Ghazanfar. With this Afghanistan won the series 2-0. The first match was canceled due to rain. The third match of the series was played at the Harare Sports Club, Harare.
Batting first, Zimbabwe was all out at 127 in 30.1 overs. Sean Williams scored the most runs for the team. He played a half-century of 60 runs in 61 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Sikandar Raza scored 13 runs in 18 balls with the help of 2 fours. Ben Curran scored 12 runs in 31 balls with the help of one four. Williams and Raza added 36 (42) runs for the fourth wicket. Allah Ghazanfar took the maximum 5 wickets for Afghanistan. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets in his bag. One wicket each went to the account of Farid Ahmed Malik and Azmatullah Umarzai.
Chasing the target, Afghanistan team won the match by losing 2 wickets in 26.5 overs and scoring 131 runs. Sediqullah Atal scored the most runs for Afghanistan.
