69000 teachers recruitment: Appointment letters were distributed to 845 newly appointed teachers of Prayagraj in order to recruit 69000 assistant teachers in council primary schools. In the list of 31277, 921 out of 979 candidates allotted for 990 vacancies in the district. Out of these, 845 teachers were distributed on Friday in the program organized in the auditorium of United College Naini. Appointment letter could not be distributed to 76 candidates due to technical reasons and non-matching of documents.
While handing over appointment letters, Chief Guest Phulpur MP Keshari Devi Patel said that the burden of future generation is on the shoulders of teachers. He will lead the country on the path of development. Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi said that education is the only thing that is distributed as much as it is distributed. Teachers are nation builders. 24 Divyangs also got appointment
There are also 24 Divyang (17 male and 7 female) among the 845 candidates who have received appointment letters in the district. Counseling for differently abled candidates took place on 15 October.
The format of appointment letter suddenly changed
Prayagraj The entire department was disturbed by the sudden change in the proforma of appointment letters of newly appointed teachers on Thursday evening. About 7 o’clock in the evening, the government received instructions that the home address of the selected teachers will also be written in the appointment letter. After that a fresh appointment letter will be prepared. Printing of appointment letter continued till four o’clock on Friday morning.
Nyaya Morcha begins 69-hour hunger strike
Prayagraj The Justice Morcha on Friday launched a 69-hour hunger strike at the Directorate of Education against alleged corruption in 69000 teacher recruitment and ignoring the rules of reservation. Amar Bahadur Gautam is leading the hunger strike to demand proper implementation of reservation in recruitment, giving opportunity for correction of human error in the form, punishing all the convicts involved in corruption and conducting a CBI investigation of corruption. Nyam Morcha co-convenor Sumit Gautam said the government was taking arbitrary decisions.
