New Delhi: Now it has become even easier to reach the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged 8 trains connecting Kevadia in Gujarat to different parts of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off eight trains to connect the Statue of Unity, Kevadia to other parts of the country through video conferencing. With this, the Prime Minister inaugurated various railway projects in Gujarat.
During this time, PM Modi said that this is probably the first time in the history of the railway when simultaneously so many trains have been given a green signal for the same place from different corners of the country. Kevadia is also such a place, its identity is from the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel who gave the mantra of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
PM Modi said that to see the Statue of Unity, more tourists are now reaching the Statue of Liberty. After its launch, nearly 50 lakh people have come to see the Statue of Unity. Today, Kevadia is no longer a small block in the remote area of Gujarat, but Kevadia is emerging as the largest tourist area in the world.
PM Modi said that the small beautiful Kevadia is an excellent example of how economy and ecology can be developed at a rapid pace while protecting the environment in a planned manner. Due to increasing tourism, tribal youth of Kevadia are getting employment. Modern amenities are fast reaching the lives of the people here.
Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also participated in the program to flag off 8 trains connecting the Statue of Unity, Kevadia to various parts of the country. During this, Goyal said that Sardar Patel connected the country and Indian Railways is going to connect the statue of Sardar Patel with the country.

Mahamana Express will run weekly from Kevadia to Varanasi.
Dadar-Kevadia Express will run daily from Dadar to Kevadia.
Jan Shatabdi Express will run daily from Ahmedabad to Kevadia.
Nizamuddin-KevadiaSampark Kranti Express will run from Kevadia to Hazrat Nizamuddin two days a week.
Kevadia-Rewa Express will run weekly from Kevadia to Rewa.
Chennai-Kevadia Express will run weekly from Chennai to Kevadia.
MEMU train will run daily from Pratap Nagar to Kevadia.
MEMU train will run daily from Kevadia to Pratapnagar.
