The temple of Lord Vishwanath in Kashi is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Earlier, where this temple was limited to only 3 thousand square feet, the Modi government expanded it to 5 lakh square feet. Now the grandeur of this temple is made just by seeing it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi named this project as Kashi Corridor. About 800 crore rupees were spent on this scheme.
Vaidyanath Dham is one of the main 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This temple is located in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Earlier, devotees had to travel by road or rail to reach here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Deoghar Airport here on July 12, 2022, making it more accessible to devotees. The distance of the temple from the airport is just 20 minutes. It is notable that Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country who reached Vaidyanath Dham.

Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is located in Uttarakhand. After the natural disaster in the year 2013, the appearance of the temple had deteriorated to a great extent. The Modi government took the initiative to give a new look to this temple and did continuous development work. Rs 225 crore has been spent in the first phase for the development of Kedarnath. Here the statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya has also been unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rejuvenation of the Mahakaleshwar temple, which comes third among the 12 Jyotirlingas, also took place during Modi’s rule. This temple is located in Ujjain, which is called the religious capital of Tezzbuzz. Under this scheme Mahakal temple was expanded and Mahakal Lok was also constructed. About 793 crores have been spent in completing this scheme. Mahakal Lok has 52 murals, 80 sculptures and 200 idols, which tell the story of Lord Shiva.
The journey to the Char Dham in Uttarakhand, which includes Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, used to be quite difficult earlier. For this, the Modi government started working on the Char Dham project and made smooth roads by ripping the mountains, due to which it has now become very convenient to travel to the Char Dham of Uttarakhand. Work on this project is still in progress.
The dream of building Lord Shriram’s temple in Ayodhya has also been fulfilled under Modi’s rule. In November 2019, as soon as the Supreme Court gave the decision of Ayodhya’s Ram temple in favor of Hindus, the way for the construction of the temple was cleared. On 5 August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and after that the temple is being constructed rapidly. The completion of the Ram temple is being estimated by the year 2024.
The work of making huge statues of Hindu saints and scholars started in Modi Raj itself.
