Latest News :- The Bombay High Court has slammed the Mumbai Police for the custodial killing of Badlapur rape accused Akshay Shinde, saying there is some drama in it and it cannot be accepted as an encounter. It has also ordered to preserve the CCTV footage of case accused Akshay Shinde from the time he was brought out of jail till he was declared dead at Shivaji Hospital.

Akshay Shinde's father Anna Shinde had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday, claiming that Akshay Shinde was killed in a fake encounter and the incident should be investigated by a Special Investigation Team. In his petition, he had alleged that his son was encountered before the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra.

His petition was heard today (Wednesday) by the Bombay High Court. The Chief Public Prosecutor then appeared and argued on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra. Then he narrated the sequence of events that happened.

After this the High Court said, “It is very difficult to believe these things. At first glance it seems like there is some drama in it. No common man can carry a gun or shoot like a common man. A weak man cannot carry a gun. It takes a lot of strength.

The accused person was not strong. When he first pulled the trigger, four other police officers overpowered him. This cannot be called an encounter. This is not an encounter.” Told that.

Background: Akshay Kumar Shinde (24) was accused of raping two nursery school girls in Badlapur, Thane district of Maharashtra. He was working as a contract sweeper in that school. He was arrested on August 17, five days after he was accused of sexually assaulting girls in a school toilet.

Meanwhile, Taloja was taken from jail to Badlapur for hearing on Monday. During this journey, when the police vehicle went near Mumba Bypass in Thane district, Akshay snatched the pistol of Assistant Police Inspector Nilesh More and attacked the police team that came to his rescue and the police retaliated and Akshay was killed. . Police said that three policemen were injured in the attack.
