Vivo launches 2 amazing smartphones with 32MP selfie camera and 80W fast charging support, know the price and features

Mobile News Desk – Vivo has launched two of its great smartphones. The company has launched Vivo V40 Lite 5G and Vivo V40 Lite 4G in Indonesia. The design and some special specifications of both the phones are the same. Its 5G variant has Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, while the 4G variant has Snapdragon 685 chipset. Both phones come with dual rear camera setup and both have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with an IP64 rated build to avoid dust and water splashes. Both phones have a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

This is the price of different models
As we mentioned, Vivo has currently launched both these phones in Indonesia. The Vivo V40 Lite 5G is priced at IDR 4,299,000 (around Rs 23,700) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Vivo's official listing also shows a 12GB + 512GB variant, but its price has not been revealed yet.

On the other hand, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G price starts at IDR 3,599,000 (roughly Rs. 19,900) for the 8GB+128GB variant. Its 8GB+256GB variant is priced at IDR 3,699,000 (roughly Rs. 20,400). These phones are available for purchase in Indonesia via the official Vivo e-store. The Vivo V40 Lite 5G comes in Carbon Black and Titanium Silver colours, while the 4G version is offered in the same colours with a third Pearl Violet option.

Specifications of Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G
Vivo V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G have a 6.67-inch full-HD Plus (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits brightness level. The 5G variant has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. At the same time, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G has a Snapdragon 685 chipset, which comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phones come with OriginOS 14 based on Android 14.

Talking about the camera, Vivo V40 Lite 5G has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the other hand, Vivo V40 Lite 4G has a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones are equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. They also support Vivo AI imaging suite, which includes features like AI Erase and Photo Enhance.

Both Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G variants have a 5000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging. For security, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, the phone includes options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, NFC and USB Type-C port. The phones come with an IP64-rated build to protect against dust and water splashes.
