New Delhi: The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is set to take place in Abu Dhabi this year. The host for this year, Shah Rukh Khan has landed on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. After a huge chaos during his departure from Mumbai, King Khan arrived at the venue to shoot the prestigious award ceremony.
For context, IIFA Awards 2024 will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. This year would mark 10 years since SRK’s last hosting gig at the award show. The official account of IIFA took to Instagram to announce ‘Badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan’s grand entrance at the Abu Dhabi airport.

During his departure from the Mumbai airport, Shah Rukh Khan was mobbed by fans and paparazzi. The Bollywood megastar was accompanied by his manager, Pooja Dadlani, and bodyguard Ravi. However, he managed to board his flight safely.
With cameras flashing, Shah Rukh Khan was seen wearing a casual white T-shirt and blue jeans along with a black jacket and cap.

IIFA gives SRK a warm welcome
In anticipation of the star’s arrival, IIFA’s official Instagram also shared a sneak peek into Shah Rukh Khan’s room at the Hilton Hotel in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The peak showed a specially crafted cake with posters from SRK’s iconic films along with a bunch of assorted goodies prepared by the hotel staff.

IIFA Awards 2024
In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bobby Deol are among the other stars that have made their way to attend the IIFA 2024 awards in Abu Dhabi.
The shooting for the IIFA Awards will take place from September 27 to 29, 2024 at the Etihad Arena and will conclude with an exclusive, invite-only event, IIFA Rocks. While Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan are set to host the show, celebs such as Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, and Ananya Panday are set to perform at the main event.
