Clash between Shia and Sunni communities in Pakistan, 25 people died

Peshawar: There was a land dispute in the north-west region of Pakistan. Clashes regarding this continued for several days between people of Shia and Sunni communities. At least 25 people have died in these clashes. Officials gave this information. Officials said that the clash took place in Kurram district of north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan.

Clashes started here last weekend, which continued on Wednesday as well. The officer said that many people from both sides were injured in the clashes that started on Saturday. Let us tell you that Kurram has been the center of communal violence in recent years.

Officials said they were trying to stop a land dispute in the country's restive northwest region. This land dispute is now turning into communal violence, which the authorities are trying hard to control. Pakistan is a Sunni Muslim majority country

Provincial government spokesperson Barrister Saif Ali said that the authorities are trying to reduce the tension with the help of tribal elders. He told that peace talks were held in Kurram. After which both sides have agreed not to indulge in any kind of violence. Let us tell you that Sunni dominated Pakistan has a population of 24 crores. In which about 15 percent are Shia Muslims. However, tension has been going on between the two communities for a long time.

According to the information, people of both the communities live peacefully in the country to a large extent. Despite this, tension is seen between the two communities in some areas. Even in the month of July, many people from both sides had died over the land dispute.
