Slogans of 'Hindus go back' written on the wall of BAPS Hindu temple in America

BAPS Hindu temple located in Sacramento, California, USA was targeted by anti-social elements. Slogans of 'Hindus go back' were written on the wall of the temple. This is the second case of targeting of Hindu temple in the last 10 days.

On the other hand, the temple administration says that we are united against this hatred towards Hindus. Just 10 days ago, a Hindu temple was targeted in New York also. There is anger among American Hindus against this incident. Temple administration said they are working closely with law enforcement officials regarding the incident.

BAPS headquarters is in Gujarat

BAPS is headquartered in Gujarat. It has more than 100 temples and centers in North America. Last year the organization had opened Akshardham Temple in New Jersey. This temple is the largest Hindu temple outside India. BAPS is a non-political organization.

Anger among American Hindus

Hate against the Hindu community is increasing rapidly in America. There is now anger in the Hindu community regarding this. Amrish Babulal, member of the US House of Representatives from California, strongly condemned the incident. He said there is no place for religious bigotry and hatred in Sacramento County. Babulal appealed to everyone to stand against hatred.

Demand raised to increase security of temples

Congress member Ro Khanna also called the incident barbaric and wrong. He demanded the Justice Department to investigate these hate cases against Hindus. Indian-American entrepreneur Ajay Jain Bhutoria appealed to the FBI to investigate. He said that action must be taken against the culprits. Jain also appealed to increase the security of temples.
