Central government : In a significant step to support workers, especially those in the unorganized sector, the Central Government has revised the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), resulting in an increase in the minimum wage rates. The Ministry of Labor and Employment said in a release on Thursday that the adjustment is aimed at helping workers cope with the rising cost of living.
