This is Modi's first visit to Russia in nearly five years.
PM Modi News In Hindi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Russia on Monday on a two-day high-level visit. During this visit, he will hold summit talks with President Vladimir Putin, in which all aspects of bilateral relations will be reviewed and opportunities will be explored to further enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, energy and defence.
This is Modi's first visit to Russia in nearly five years. His last visit to Russia was in 2019 when he attended an economic conference in the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok.

Modi and Putin are likely to discuss ways to further expand bilateral ties in diverse areas including trade, energy and defense during the 22nd India-Russia annual summit on Tuesday.
PM Modi in his departure statement said, “The special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia has progressed over the last 10 years, encompassing energy, security, trade, investment, health, education, culture, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.” -Includes areas of provision.”
