Labor Minister Mukesh Ahlawat was also present along with CM Atishi during the press conference held in Delhi Secretariat. Atishi said that after the formation of the government, we have done this work first. After the new order of the Labor Department, the salary of workers will increase by Rs 572 to Rs 700 every month.
Atishi said that the Delhi government has run the government for the last 10 years under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal to provide a better life to the common people. Many facilities have been provided including free electricity, cheap electricity, good schools and free bus travel. Along with this, the work of giving the highest minimum wages in the country to the workers involved in the development of Delhi has also been done. Kejriwal's government did this work even after opposition from BJP and LG.
There is also a provision to increase dearness allowance twice. Atishi said that those taking minimum wages are poor people. Not only increased the minimum wage of workers, but also made a provision to increase dearness allowance twice a year. The anti-poor BJP opposed this. LG protested, but we fought and got it implemented. Now we have again increased their salaries.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has been given Z category security a few days after taking oath.
