Actress Pooja Hegde shared a glimpse of her favorite food on her social media account. The actress, who has 27.4 million followers on Instagram, shared a 'darshan' of a delicious thali on her Insta Story which she said has a direct connection with her soul!
“Food that goes straight to my soul,” he wrote along with a picture of a South Indian thali.
The food was laid out on a giant banana leaf with vada, rice, sambhar, chutney, coconut chutney, pickles and other South Indian dishes.
The actress is busy with the shooting schedule of Suriya's film 'Suriya 44' (tentative title) which is being directed by 'Jigarthanda DoubleX' fame director Karthik Subbaraj.
As of now, the filmmaker is keeping all the details under wraps and fans are expecting a big update before Suriya's second big release 'Kanguva', directed by Siruthai Siva. The film is set for a massive pan-India release on November 14, 2024.
Apart from 'Surya 44', she has recently completed the shooting of 'Deva', in which she is working with Shahid Kapoor and Pavail Gulati. Both Shahid and Powell will be seen playing the role of police in the film.
The film is directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Roshan Andrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. 'Deva' is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025.
Pooja will also be seen alongside 'Tadap' fame actor Ahan Shetty in an action-thriller titled 'Sanaki', to be directed by Yasir Jah and Adnan A Shaikh.
Pooja, who was the second runner-up in the 'I'm She-Miss Universe India' pageant in 2010, started her acting journey in 2012 with the Tamil film 'Mugamoodi'. Her first Telugu release was 'Oka Laila Kosam' in 2014, starring Naga Chaitanya.
She made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with the period action film 'Mohenjo Daro', written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and was based on the ancient Indus Valley Civilization.
Pooja has been seen in Hindi films like 'Housefull 4', 'Radhe Shyam', 'Circus' and recently – 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' starring Salman Khan.
