Indian squash player Ramit Tandon signs deal with JSW Sports

New Delhi, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). JSW Sports has signed India's top squash player Ramit Tandon, who is currently ranked 30th globally in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) rankings.

Under this agreement, JSW Sports will help Ramit achieve further success by providing him with world-class resources and exposure.

Ramit Tandon has made significant progress in his professional squash career with continued success on the PSA Tour. Kolkata-based Ramit has won several PSA titles, including wins at the Singapore Squash Open and the Seattle Open. His determination and dedication have consistently placed him among the top star squash athletes globally.

On signing with JSW Sports, Ramit said, “Joining JSW Sports feels like coming home to a family that shares my passion and determination for excellence. With their support, I am confident that we can move beyond the top 30 ranking and set our sights on the top 10 in the world, as their track record of producing champions speaks volumes.”

Since joining the PSA World Tour in 2009, Ramit has become one of India's top squash players, winning several titles including the SYS Open, Singapore Squash Open, Abu Dhabi Open and Seattle Open. His consistent performances earned him a place in the top 50 during the 2018–2019 season, where he was ranked second in the E.M. He also finished runner-up at the Noll Classic and reached quarterfinals at the Pittsburgh Open and the Qualico Manitoba Open. In March 2023, he reached his career-high ranking of world No. 33.
