12th class students ragged a 9th class child in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, misbehaved with the victim's father who reached the school.

Chatra: A case of ragging has come to light in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Students of class 12th first ragged with a student of class 9th and then when he protested, they beat him up. After this matter came to light, the school administration has suspended eight class 12 students from school for 15 days.

The victim, a 9th class student, is a resident of Kunda block of Chatra. Senior students inside the school were ragging him for the last two days. The troubled student had complained about this to the house in-charge. After getting information about the complaint, 12th class students attacked the victim while he was having lunch in the mess.

Bihar Police wrote a letter demanding security to the students of Bihar in West Bengal.
After this, the victim student complained about ragging to the school principal SD Lokhande and his father. When the father of the victim student reached school, the 12th class students also misbehaved with him. The principal tried to convince the students but they did not agree, after which the principal took action and sent eight class 12 students home, suspending them for 15 days.

The father of the victim student has filed a complaint against eight class 12 students at Sadar police station. The police is investigating this entire matter. On this whole matter, the school principal Lokhande said that the school will not tolerate indiscipline at any cost, strict action will be taken against the guilty students, strict rules will be implemented to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the school in future.
