5 rules will change from October 1, from LPG to Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, every family and pocket will be affected!

1. Change in LPG cylinder prices
On the first of every month, oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG cylinders. New prices can be released from 6 am on October 1, 2024. Recently, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has increased from Rs 1652.50 to Rs 1691.50. A reduction in the prices of domestic gas cylinders is expected before Diwali.

2. Prices of ATF and CNG-PNG
The prices of aviation fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG will also be revised on October 1. ATF prices were cut in September, and are expected to change in October as well.

3. HDFC Bank Credit Card Rules
Changes in the loyalty programs of some credit cards of HDFC Bank will come into effect from October 1. Redemption of reward points for Apple products will now be limited to one product per calendar quarter.

4. Changes in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
The new rule will also be applicable in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana from October 1. Only legal guardians will be able to operate the SSY account of daughters. If a person has opened this account, who is not the legal guardian, then he has to transfer it, otherwise the account can be closed.

5. New rules related to PPF account
Three major changes in Public Provident Fund (PPF) will come into effect from October 1. Those holding more than one account will be prosecuted, and interest will be paid on minors' accounts once they turn 18. Maturity period will also be calculated from this date.
