Hindu Parishad workers protest against India-Bangladesh match in Kanpur, demand cancellation of the match

Kanpur . On Friday, workers of Hindu organization recited Hanuman Chalisa at Sadhavna intersection, one and a half kilometers away from Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Protested demanding cancellation of India Bangladesh test match.

According to media reports, after receiving information about the protest by Hindu activists including Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, police officers immediately reached the spot and pacified the matter.

According to media reports, heavy police force led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankita Sharma stopped the protesting workers from going to the Green Park Stadium. The angry protesters demanded cancellation of the Test match being held between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in view of the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. The DCP said that the protesters have submitted a written memorandum addressed to the Police Commissioner.
