This theft was committed by Vadite Ganesh Naik, a servant working in Mohan Babu's house. This servant used to work as an office boy at Mohan Babu's house. After this he used to help in the household work. But as soon as Mohan Babu came to know about the theft in the house, he lodged a complaint with the police. After this the accused plaintiff Ganesh Naik was found.

One day, while returning from a pilgrimage to Tirupati, Mohan Babu's secretary brought home Rs 10 lakh in cash. He left the money in the room, but realized that the cash had been stolen from his room. After this he lodged a complaint with the police. According to reports, Mohan Babu's secretary had lodged a complaint of theft with the Pahari Sharif police a few days ago. After this the police arrested the accused from Tirupati.
