Plot of the Fim
The peaceful life of a rich family residing happily in Los Angeles gets disturbed when a series of bizarre & unexplainable supernatural events start to take place in the house, causing worry and distress among the family members.
To determine the cause of the problem, the family invites popular Shamans Hwa-Rim (Kim Go-Eun) and Bong-Gil (Lee Do-Hyun) to their home who then tell everyone that the ongoing paranormal occurrences have a link with the curse of one of their deceased ancestor whose body was buried in a remote South Korena village and ever since then his soul has been unable to rest in peace.
Soon after learning that, the family, along with the Shamans, embarks on a quest to go to their ancestor’s tomb, excavate it, and execute the exhumation of his grave with the help of an undertaker to reverse the effect of the curse.
However, all they end up doing is unleashing a sinister entity from beneath which will make the entire face the dreadful consequences of their actions. What happens next how the family members find a way to save themselves from the evil entity before it’s too late is the remaining story of the movie.
