While speaking on the war between Palestine and Israel, Shahbaz Sharif started singing Kashmir Raga. The Pakistani Prime Minister said that the people of Kashmir have struggled for their freedom and right to self-determination.

What did Shahbaz Sharif say?

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif accused India, saying, “Instead of moving towards peace, India has turned its back on its promises to implement the Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir. “These resolutions mandate a referendum for the people of Kashmir to exercise their fundamental right to self-determination.”

Mentioned about 370

Shahbaz Sharif at the UNGA said, “Since August 5, 2019, India has taken unilateral illegal steps (in the context of abrogation of Article 370), which its leaders call a ‘final solution’ for Kashmir. “900,000 Indian troops terrorize the people of Jammu and Kashmir through harsh measures including long curfews, extrajudicial killings and abduction of young Kashmiris.”

Shahbaz Sharif did not stop here, he made many more allegations against the Indian government. He said, “India is confiscating Kashmiri land and properties and settling outsiders in occupied Jammu and Kashmir as part of its nefarious intention to convert the Muslim majority into a minority, this strategy is adopted by all the occupying powers . They (India) have always failed and by the grace of God will fail in Kashmir also.”

India gave a befitting reply

Responding to Pakistani PM's Kashmir rant at the UN, India said that Pakistan is living in the past. He is isolated in the world on Jammu and Kashmir issue. From India's side it was said that no country in the world supports Pakistan on Kashmir.
