These days, along with the scriptures, he is learning the tricks of self-defense. Regularly they are being given training in Karate and Taekwondo. This has started in the religious city of Kashi where Batuk Veda students are being given training for self-defense.

The tradition of Varanasi Sanatan culture is still seen in the monasteries where Hindu children are given knowledge of Vedas and Sanskrit. They are equipped with mantras who later become story tellers, worshipers, priests, religious leaders, priests but in the Kailash Puri Math of Varanasi, a glimpse of the new tradition along with the scriptures was seen. Wearing dhoti and sacred thread, these students first meditate, awaken themselves by chanting mantras and then learn self-defense skills like karate and taekwondo.

They are being given training every single day. These children wake up at 4.30 in the morning and first study the Vedas. After that they are made to practice from 8 am to 9.30 am. For this, national level coaches have also been appointed for them, who are coming and training them every day. Such practice that if ever needed, it can defeat the opponent.

It was started in Kailash Puri Math. In the coming time, this training will be given in more and more monasteries. Ved Batuk students will be taught self-defense skills. Since its beginning in Kailash Puri Math of Varanasi, other monasteries are also coming in contact.
