Jr NTR’s film Devara finally made it to big screens. Scroll down to check Devara day one early predictions.

Finally, after a long wait, Jr NTR’s highly anticipated film Devara has hit the big screens. While the film created significant buzz before its release, the aftermath has been less impressive. The film has received a mixed response from both audiences and critics. With the movie premiering in theaters, early estimates for its box office collection are grabbing attention. Reports suggest that Jr NTR may not surpass the opening numbers of RRR.

However, Devara could still achieve the second-biggest opening of Jr NTR’s career. Early predictions suggest that it will be the second largest opening of 2024, following Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the early opening figures for Devara could range around Rs 70 crores in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana).

In Tamil Nadu, the film is expected to earn Rs 3 crores on its opening day. In Hindi-speaking regions, the film is projected to make Rs 5-6 crores on its first Friday. The tracker estimates that the movie could collect between Rs 80 to 90 crores across India. For overseas markets, pre-sales are anticipated to generate approximately $5 million (Rs 40 crores gross), bringing the worldwide opening to around Rs 125 crores gross.

If these figures hold true, it will be a serendipitous year for Jr NTR. Should Devara manage to earn ₹80-90 crores, it would be the second-highest opening of the year, with the first being Kalki 2898 AD. The Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer earned ₹95 crores across the nation on its first day.
