A terrible accident shook the country, a speeding bus collided with a parked truck, 9 people died tragically, created chaos.

Maher. A bus full of passengers met with an accident near Maihar in Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, the bus was at high speed. She collided with a truck parked on the roadside. So far 9 passengers have died in this accident. Around 23 passengers are said to be injured. The death toll may increase further. The bus was going from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to Nagpur. This accident happened on National Highway 30 near Maihar in Nadan Dehat police station area.

According to the information, the sleeper bus of Abha Travels was going from Prayagraj to Nagpur at 11 pm on Saturday night. A truck was parked on the roadside on National Highway 30. The speed of the bus was quite fast. Then the bus collided with the truck. Due to the high speed, half the chassis and body of the bus broke into pieces. Passengers got trapped inside the bus after the accident. The passengers were taken out with the help of JCB and gas cutter.

The cabin of the bus and the passengers sitting on the front seats came under the influence of the accident. Six passengers died on the spot. Other passengers were hurriedly sent to the hospitals of Amarpatan and Maihar with the help of ambulance late in the night. The death toll has now increased to 9. 23 passengers have been injured in this accident. The rescue operation continued for more than two hours.

Maihar Superintendent of Police Sudhir Aggarwal said that there is information that this bus was going from Prayagraj to Nagpur. When this bus came ahead of Dehat police station area, it collided with a truck laden with stones. The collision was quite strong. The front part of the bus is badly damaged. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. People trapped inside were taken out. Six passengers died on the spot. About 23 people have been injured in this accident. There is information that three more among the injured admitted in the hospital have died.
