New rules of TRAI: Mobile users will get these special facilities from October 1, know what will be the change!

Changes in TRAI's new rules from October 1, 2024: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India keeps changing the rules from time to time for the convenience of mobile users. TRAI often takes such steps to reduce the arbitrariness of telecom companies and to provide maximum facilities to the customers. TRAI is now going to implement new rules across India from October 1. After the new rule, Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL customers will get some new services.

Let us tell you that earlier these rules were to be implemented from September 1 to curb the increasing cases of online fraud and scams. But, TRAI extended its implementation date by a month to give some time to the telecom companies. Let us tell you which new services are going to be available in your mobile after October 1.

Network information will be available in mobile

Let us tell you that different networks are provided by the telecom company at different places. From October 1, you will get information on your mobile about which networks are available in your area. TRAI has directed telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL to provide detailed network information on their websites for the convenience of customers.

A list of numbers will be generated

TRAI has directed telecom companies to take strict steps to prevent frauds and scams. To stop spam calls, TRAI has asked telecom companies to prepare a separate list of such spam calls.

From October 1, only secure URL based or OTP links will be sent for communication. Let us tell you that by September 30, telemarketing calls to telecom companies starting from 140 series will now be transferred to the digital platform.
