New Delhi. With the beginning of the new month, many rules related to banks will change. Many rules related to money are changing in the month starting from October 1. In this, some rules are related to tax and some to investment. There are changes in the rules of Aadhaar and SIM card.

Direct Tax Vivad Vishwas Scheme is being launched from 1st October. The government had announced this scheme in the budget. With the help of this scheme, pending tax disputes will be resolved. The settlement amount given under this scheme depends on the time of payment.

Aadhar card
There will be a change in the rules related to Aadhaar from October 1. The budget proposed to discontinue the provision allowing mentioning of Aadhaar enrollment ID instead of Aadhaar number. With this decision, misuse and duplication of PAN will be eliminated. From October 1, individuals will not be able to mention their Aadhaar enrollment ID in their income tax returns in the application form for allotment of PAN.

Market regulator SEBI has made changes in the credit rules of the stock market. From October 1, now shares will be credited to the demat account in 2 days. Investors will also get bonus shares within two days.

Rules of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, PPF
The rules of Sukanya Account and PPF have changed. Its rules will change from October 1, 2024. From 1st onwards, if grandparents or any other person has opened a Sukanya account in the name of the girl child, then they will have to transfer the account in the name of parents or guardian. Failure to do so may result in account freezing. According to the new rules of PPF, now there can be problem in keeping more than one PF account. Whereas account holders below 18 years of age will not get interest on Post Office Saving Scheme.

There will be a change in SIM card rules from October 1. Under the new rule of TRAI, it will now be easier for users to know which network is available in their area. TRAI has asked telecommunication companies to implement new rules related to this. According to the new rules of TRAI, now telecom companies will have to give this information on their website itself. This will make it much easier for users to know which network is available in their area.
