Material

Amla 6

water 1 glass

Mustard oil 5-6 tbsp

salt to taste

Whole cumin seeds 1/4 tsp

Red chilli ¼ tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder 1/4 tsp

Green chilli finely chopped

Method

First of all, wash the Amla, cut it into pieces and remove the seeds. Now keep the vessel on the gas. Pour water into it and add gooseberry and keep cooking on low flame. We have to take care that the Amla boils completely. For this, we will cook Amla till the water reduces to half. Now turn off the gas. Filter the Amla and keep its water aside. Keep in mind that this water should not be thrown away as it is pure Amla juice. If you want, you can consume it directly. It is very beneficial for the stomach.

Now place a pan on the gas and heat oil in it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it. Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and green chilli and cook. Now add Amla pieces in it and mix well. If you like sweet, you can also add 1 teaspoon sugar in it. A simple recipe of Amla is ready which is not only delicious but also very nutritious.
