Asus has prepared a masterplan to become the number 1 PC brand in India, will expand the retail center.

New Delhi : Asus, one of Taiwan's famous technology companies, has taken important decisions to expand its business in India. In the coming 2 years, the company is planning to become India's top personal computer brand with 25-30 percent share. To achieve this goal, the company has also started preparations for aggressive expansion in the retail market.

Arnold Su, Vice President, System Business Group, Consumer and Gaming PC, Asus India, said that Asus has increased its market share in India by 3 times from 6.3 percent in 2017 to 17.8 percent in 2023. With this it has become the second largest consumer notebook brand in the country.

Market share 25-30 percent

Speaking to PTI, Su said, “It has taken us 6 years to triple the market share. Our aim is to become the number one brand in the coming 2 years and for this it is very important for our market share to be between 25-30 percent.”

“We will continue to aggressively expand our retail centers to ensure that consumers in Tier 3 and 4 cities can experience Asus technology without having to travel to metros,” he said.

Plans to expand in India

He said that as one of the largest gaming and consumer PC companies, Asus understands the need to maintain its momentum. Su said Asus currently has a presence in more than 400 districts and plans to expand across India soon.
