Bateshwar Temple

This place is known as Bateshwar.
Learn history
Local people say that this temple was built by Gurjar-Pratihar kings. Sandstone was used for the 200 temples built here which are spread over about 25 acres of land. Here you will see Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Shakti. This is a place in India where there are 200 temples. There are different varieties of architecture here. Its construction is believed to be before the Khajuraho temple.
