Sukma Encounter: Security forces killed 10 Naxalites in Sukma, found a cache of weapons
Sukma. There is news of an encounter between security forces and Naxalites on Friday in Police Station Bhejji area of Sukma District of Chhattisgarh. Information has been received that 10 Naxalites were killed in the encounter. Security forces have recovered three automatic rifles and other weapons from the spot.

According to the information, the soldiers had received information that many Naxalites were entering Chhattisgarh through Odisha. The DRG team had set out to surround the Naxalites. The encounter took place in the morning on 22 November.
IG Bastar P Sundarraj said that 10 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with DRG in South Sukma, Chhattisgarh. INSAS, AK-47, SLR and many other weapons were recovered. Search operation is going on. Let us tell you that earlier there were encounters between security forces and Naxalites in South Bastar, Gariaband and Kanker also.
