In 2022, Bhasin was diagnosed with low progesterone, making it difficult for her to “get up and live” 15 days every month.
Neha wrote, “I gained 10 kg for the first time in my life. And I was already suffering from body dysmorphia. And I was recovering from an eating disorder. Anti-depressants ensured that my weight increased further. I I used to sit alone in the dark for 10 hours a day. Now I have help and I have bad days but I'm learning to cope and hope.” She said, “I was caught by paps on the street, in cafes, while going to the gym. That's when I started to hate the way I looked. I was constantly made to feel ashamed about my body. She said that she goes to the gym, but this work I was just depressed and would cry while sitting in the gym. If I moved too much, I would get cramps. Was feeling tired.”
