Rajasthan High Court gave big relief to Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan, know what was the whole matter

Mumbai: In 2013, a case was registered against Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan under the SC/ST Act. Shilpa Shetty has also apologized in this matter. On Thursday, November 21, Rajasthan High Court canceled the FIR registered against Shilpa Shetty under the SC/ST Act. During this time, the High Court said that an FIR cannot be registered under the SC/ST Act without approval and investigation.

During an interview in 2013, the word Bhangi was used by Shilpa Shetty and an FIR was registered against Shilpa Shetty under the SC/ST Act in 2017 regarding this word.

Salman Khan was also present during the interview, hence Salman Khan's name is also in the FIR. However, as soon as the matter was surrounded by controversies, Shilpa Shetty immediately apologized for this. Now a statement has come out from the court on this matter.

Shilpa Shetty apologized and wrote, 'If he has done this, I apologize. I am proud to be from a country where there are different castes and religions. I respect each of them.

This case was registered against Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty in Churu Kotwali. In the court, the lawyer of Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan had argued that the SC/ST Act is not applicable in this case because the alleged comment did not intend to insult people of any particular community on the basis of caste, but in this wording, She was addressing herself. The court has also ruled to cancel the FIR in this case and has made it clear that an FIR cannot be registered under the SC/ST Act without approval and investigation.
