The specialty of this kheer is that it will be ready in a very short time. We will make it in a cooker. So you too make rice pudding with this easy recipe and make your family and guests taste its special sweetness.

Ingredients for making rice kheer in cooker

  • Rice – 2 tbsp (30 grams)
  • Milk – 1/2 litre, full cream
  • Cardamom – 4
  • Almonds – Almonds – 1 tbsp
  • Cashews – Cashews – 1 tbsp
  • Coconut – 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Chironji – 1 teaspoon
  • Raisins – 1 tbsp
  • Malai – Fresh Malai – 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup (50 grams)
  • Saffron Straw – Saffron Straw

Process of making rice kheer

  • Wash 2 tablespoons rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20-25 minutes.
  • Then soak the cooker with water and add 1/2 liter milk in it and cook on high flame till it boils.
  • Meanwhile, peel and grate 4 small cardamoms. When the milk boils, reduce the flame and remove the water and add soaked rice.
  • Then add 1 tablespoon chopped almonds, 1 tablespoon chopped cashews, 1 tablespoon chopped coconut, 1 tablespoon chironji, 1 tablespoon raisins and coarsely ground cardamom.
  • Stir them and add 3 spoons of cream to it. Now close the cooker and cook on high flame till one whistle.
  • As soon as one whistle, reduce the flame and cook for 5 minutes. Then turn off the flame and let the cooker cool down. When the cooker cools down, open it and add 1/4 cup sugar.
  • Lower the flame and cook it on low flame until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • When the sugar dissolves, turn off the flame and let it cool. In this way, rice kheer is ready, serve it and enjoy its taste.
