Was interested in cricket since childhood

Harshit Rana was born on 22 December 2001 in New Delhi. Harshit Rana's father's name is Pradeep Rana and his mother is a housewife. However, he has kept information about his family quite limited. Harshit Rana was interested in cricket since childhood and used to play cricket in the streets with his friends. Harshit Rana received his early education at Ganga International School, Delhi. However, he loved playing cricket since childhood, so he focused more on playing than studies.

Used to train with father

Harshit Rana was fond of playing cricket since childhood. He started taking cricket training in his school right from his school days. To fulfill his cricket dream, he used to wake up in the morning to practice cricket and go to school during the day. After coming back from school, he used to train again with his father in the evening. Later, he trained at Rohtak Road Gymkhana in Shahdara and Royal Sports Academy, Ghevra in New Delhi.

Career in danger due to injury…

There was a time when he suffered a lower back injury, due to which he missed playing for Delhi Under-14 and Delhi Under-16 teams. He suffered a stress fracture in the 2020-21 season, due to which he had to stay away from the game for 6 months. This was the issue that Joffra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah went through recently. During that time, Harshit's father supported him a lot.

There was a time when it seemed that how will he be able to make a comeback as a fast bowler where his waist or back contribute a lot. However, after recovering from injury, Harshit Rana made a brilliant comeback. Rana played for Delhi Under-19 team. Then he performed brilliantly in IPL and also did wonders for his team in India-A and Ranji. The result of that is that from today onwards he will be called an Indian cricketer.
