10 Naxalites killed in encounter…AK-47, SLR rifle recovered, Deputy CM Sao said – Bastar will be Naxal free

Sukma: District Reserve Guard (DRG) killed 10 Naxalites in an encounter in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh security forces have achieved great success against Naxalites. A few hours after the Naxalites were killed, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that due to the efforts of the security forces, Bastar will soon be free from Naxalites.

“Security forces have achieved another feat in Sukma. I want to thank the security forces personnel. After the formation of our government, security forces conducted many operations even in difficult areas. “With the efforts of the security forces, Bastar will very soon become Naxal free and peace will be restored there and the region will move forward on the path of development.”

Meanwhile, South Bastar DIG Kamlochan Kashyap said that a joint operation has been planned after receiving information about the movement of a group of Naxalites in the area. Kashyap told reporters, “Since last week we were getting information that a group of Naxalites were roaming there. We planned a joint operation. There was an encounter this morning and we were successful in killing 10 Naxalites.

He said that we have also recovered AK-47 SLR rifle and other weapons. Earlier today, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai praised the security forces for their 'indomitable courage' and 'dedication'. Because they successfully killed at least 10 Naxalites in an operation in Sukma district. The Chief Minister highlighted that this achievement of the security forces is commendable, as the State Government continues its strong fight against Naxalism by following the policy of zero tolerance.
