Hyundai's Creta EV will be launched in January, know the features, price details
New Delhi. Many companies are going to unveil their new cars in the 2025 India Mobility Expo. Hyundai's Creta EV is also included in this list. Its testing has been going on in the Indian market for a long time. Now its production model is ready to be launched. This will be the company's third electric car in the Indian market after Kona Electric and Ioniq 5. It is also believed that it will replace Kona Electric. Recently the company had said that it is going to increase its EV lineup. It will start with Creta EV. It will compete with Tata and MG models.

Design
The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV will be based on the ICE facelift model of the midsize SUV. It will get connected taillight, similar rear bumper and shark-fin antenna at the rear. Apart from the removal of the tailpipe, the Creta EV will also get Creta EV badging at the rear and new aerodynamic alloy wheels with a closed grille. At the same time, the design of headlamp and DRL will be taken forward. It will be built on an updated version of the K2 architecture, which is also the platform of the existing Hyundai Creta.
interior
Now talking about the interior of Creta EV, it will get an advanced interior with quality content and many technology features. The cabin can be decked out in premium leatherette. It will feature electric panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats and 2-stage reclining in the second row. Apart from this, new gear selector, new layout in the center console, new 3-spoke steering wheel and ambient lighting are also expected to be available.

Range
Information related to the mechanical specifications of Creta EV has not been revealed yet. Still, it is believed that it will be offered in 2 variants depending on the battery option. It can compete with the recently launched Tata Curve EV. In which 45kWh and 55kWh battery packs are available. It is believed that with the larger battery pack, the range of Creta EV can be 500 kilometers. Its starting ex-showroom price can be around Rs 20 lakh. It will also compete with Maruti e-Vitara, which is going to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
