NDA wins in by-elections on 4 assembly seats in Bihar, captures all the seats.


New Delhi. NDA has also hoisted the flag in the by-elections held in 4 assembly seats Imamganj, Belaganj, Ramgarh and Tarari in Bihar. Of these, two seats have gone to BJP and one seat each to BJP's ally Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM and Nitish Kumar's JDU. Lalu Yadav's party RJD has suffered a major setback in this election. Ramgarh and Belaganj seats, which were with RJD for the last several years, have now been captured by NDA. Prashant Kishor had also put in all his strength in the assembly by-elections, but his Jansuraj Party was also rejected by the public.

BJP's victory in Tarari Assembly

Vishal Prashant of BJP hoisted the flag in Tarari assembly of Arrah district. Vishal Prashant got 78,755 votes, defeating Raju Yadav of CPI (M) by about 10 thousand votes. Kiran Singh of Jansuraj Party stood third with 5,622 votes.

BJP won in Ramgarh also

BJP's Ashok Kumar Singh has bloomed lotus on Ramgarh assembly seat of Kaimur district. Ashok Kumar got 62,257 votes. He defeated Pintu Yadav of BSP by about 2 thousand votes. RJD's Ajit Kumar Singh stood third with 35,825 votes.

Ham's Deepa Kumari won in Imamganj

Jitan Ram Manjhi's daughter-in-law and Hindustani Awam Morcha candidate Deepa Kumari has won the Imamganj assembly seat under Gaya district. Deepa got 53,435 votes, defeating RJD's Roshan Kumar. Jitendra Paswan of Jansuraj Party stood third on this seat.

JDU candidate wins in Belaganj seat

In Belaganj seat of Gaya district, Nitish Kumar's JDU's candidate Manorama Devi defeated RJD's Vishwanath Kumar Singh by 21 thousand 391 votes. Here also Jan Suraj Party stood third. Its candidate Mohammad Amjad got a total of 17 thousand 285 votes.
