New Delhi: Raids were conducted at the residence of Raj Kundra on Friday (November 29, 2024) by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The action was taken in connection with a money laundering case linked to the production and distribution of pornographic content.
According to the latest reports, the raid began at Raj’s residence in Mumbai at 6 AM and it is still underway. Also, it is being said that searches are being conducted at 15 locations linked to his associates in Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai.

Sources informed PTI that the investigation focuses on the alleged circulation of pornographic content distributed via mobile applications and other platforms. Further details about the matter are awaited.
For the unversed, in 2021, Raj was arrested by Mumbai police in connection with an adult content case. However, he was later granted bail. He is reportedly under scrutiny in a separate money laundering investigation as well that is linked to Bitcoin fraud. The cryptocurrency, valued at more than Rs 150 crore, is derived from funds collected from investors through unlawful means.
