WPL 2025 Auction Date: The auction of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2025 has been very spectacular, in which along with many male players becoming millionaires, the old ones have also become millionaires. At the same time, now the luck of women players is going to shine. Actually, the third season of Women's Premier League i.e. WPL is going to start from February 23 next year. Before this, the date of mini auction has been revealed.

According to Cricbuzz report, the first mini auction of the third season of WPL will be held in Bengaluru on December 15. There will be bidding for 19 slots (14 Indian players and 5 foreign players) in the auction. The collective amount available to all teams is Rs 16.7 crore, with each franchise allowed to spend up to Rs 15 crore on its team. BCCI has recently informed the five franchises about the venue and date.

However, in the WPL, each team can have a maximum of 18 players, which can also include six overseas players. After retaining players from last season, Gujarat Giants have a maximum purse of Rs 4.4 crore and four slots to fill. As of now, BCCI has not yet announced the specific window for the 22-match tournament. It is expected that it will be held between February and March.
