TECH: OnePlus has confirmed to launch Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones in China in December this year. The Ace 5 Pro will likely remain exclusive to China, while the Ace 5 will be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R for global markets.
OnePlus 13R (Ace 5) features: – Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset – 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging
Features of Ace 5 Pro: – Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (same as OnePlus 13) – Includes telephoto camera – Battery capacity around 6,200mAh or 6,300mAh
The leak suggests that the Ace 5 will feature a premium design with a flat screen, durable ceramic material, and sleek looks. While the Ace 5 Pro will be limited to China, the OnePlus 13R (Ace 5) is expected to launch globally, including in India, alongside the OnePlus 13 in January 2025*.
