Former United States soccer star Ali Warrior has confirmed that she is presently dating fellow footballer Jen Beattie. The revelation comes one year after the much-discussed separation between Krieger and her former partner, Ashlyn Harris. However, the duo seems to have moved on from their split, with both retired athletes currently involved in separate relationships of their own.

Ali Krieger and Jen Beattie announce their relationship
The two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup winner took to social media to announce her relationship with Jen Beattie on Thursday.
First, Bay FC defender Beattie took the initiative by sharing an Instagram photo of the couple on Instagram stories on the festive occasion of Thanksgiving. In the picture, she is seen laughing alongside Ali Krieger at a restaurant, with the caption, “Thankful for you. Happy Thanksgiving my love, @alikrieger” on the top.
Krieger reciprocated the adorable gesture by resharing the story on her profile, writing, “You have no idea..” with three heart emojis on the post. The revelation comes after months of speculation regarding the former soccer star’s relationship status. While Krieger did confirm that she was dating someone in July, she shied away from giving away a name, until now.
Talking about her decision to keep her relationship with Jen Beattie a secret with AND! News in September, Ali Krieger highlighted the difficulties she faced in her previous link-up with Ashlyn Harris. “[With] everything I went through last year, I want to keep that more so for me and for her. I think it’s really important that I take this process slower, have a good concern for it, and make sure that it’s moving in the right direction before any big announcement,” she remarked.
Krieger and Harris unceremoniously parted ways after four years of marriage in 2023. The pair initially met one another on international duty with the US Women’s National Soccer Team in 2010 before engaging in a romantic affair. Since their breakup, Harris has been in a relationship with One Tree Hill actress, Sophia Bush.
