Bhilwara, 29 November (HS). Bhilwara Police has exposed the incidents of theft in schools and arrested two accused. In this action taken by Police Station Sadar, two thieves who stole nutrition, electronic equipment and other materials of school children have been caught. These accused had committed theft incidents in more than a dozen government schools of Bhilwara district.
Police have recovered many items including 38 gas cylinders, printer, laptop, inverter, battery, wheat and rice from the possession of the accused. Besides, the Maruti van and loading tempo used in the incident have also been seized. These thieves had used loading tempos and motorcycles to commit thefts. During interrogation, the accused confessed to committing a total of 19 crimes.
The arrested accused include Naru Shah, resident of Nikumbh, district Chittorgarh and Latif Shah, resident of Bigod, district Bhilwara. Both the accused were currently living in Shastri Nagar area of Bhilwara.
According to Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh, the accused broke the locks of many schools in Bhilwara district at night and stole nutritional material, sports material and other items. These include Kalyakheda, Rechhra, Sidiyas, Bhadani Kheda, Salaria, Sawaipur, and other places.
On the instructions of Bhilwara District Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh (IPS), a special team was formed under the supervision of ASP Parasmal Jain. With the help of cyber cell and DST team, the team was successful in catching the accused through scientific research and traditional policing. Police said that investigation is going on regarding other accused and the remaining stolen items. The arrested accused Naru Shah and Latif Shah admitted their involvement and confessed to theft from various schools and other places. Police have seized 38 gas cylinders, printer, laptop, inverter, battery, wheat, rice and the vehicle used in the incident from their possession.
